Hail To Pitt!

Congratulations to the Class of 2007

The April 2007 graduating class was particularly impressive. Several Architectural Studies majors have been accepted into BArch or MArch programs. Of the 39 History of Art and Architecture majors, 77% graduated with university honors (9 cum laude, 14 magna cum laude, and 7 summa cum laude). Seven of these graduates completed an independent honors research project in our department. The average GPA for HAA majors was 3.55 and 25 students earned an additional major from another department. Read more about achievements and future plans of the class of 2007.

Postcard

Jade Ward, HAA major

“I'm studying in Valencia, Spain for the semester. I'm really enjoying the beautiful climate, the old city, and the wonderful Spanish culture with many siestas, good food, and a wild night life. I've had a chance to see works by Goya, Velazquez (including Las Meninas and my favorite Los Barrachos), and many more in Madrid at the Prado." Continue reading Jade’s postcard from abroad.
