Summer Research
Several HAA graduate students were busy this summer with a variety of independent research projects. Cristina Albu interned at the Carnegie Museum of Art working on the upcoming International. Katie Martin studied language and art in Sweden. Upon receiving the Nationality Rooms John T. Tsui scholarship, Leslie Wallace spent time in China. See what these three students accomplished over the summer.

TA Mentor Announced
Robert Bailey will be the TA mentor for 2007-2008. All TAs and TFs need to submit their signed teaching contracts to him by the end of September.
Upcoming Milestone Deadlines
All first year PhD students must have their Preliminary Meeting by December 1, 2007 and file the necessary paperwork.
Any student who has not passed both langauge requirements must take a foreign language exam each semester. See Emily to schedule.
All PhD students are required to meet with their committees at least once a year and file a Summary of Annual Committee Meeting Report this semester.
